Simultaneous interpreting: It requires a booth and appropriate equipment (headphones and microphones). The two interpreters take turns conveying each speaker's ideas from source to target language in real-time.

It is commonly used in conferences, seminars, symposiums with large audiences and several working languages, as well as for the media.

Consecutive interpreting: It does not require a booth. The interpreter is in the same room as the participants, listening carefully to what is said, taking notes; when each speaker pauses, the interpreter conveys the same message from source to target language.

It is often used in small meetings, technical meetings, press conferences, official dinners, prize award ceremonies, etc.

Face-to-face interpreting: The interpreter is a linguistic mediator. He or she bridges the gap between two people who do not speak the same language. The interpreter translates to both languages immediately after the speakers take the floor. It is a face-to-face conversation-like communication.

It is frequently used in business meetings, premises visits, hospitals, police stations, guided tours, etc.

Certified interpreting: It is very technical and requires a specialization in the legal field. The interpreter has to be certified by the Spanish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Depending on the circumstances, it can take the form of a face-to-face interpreting or a consecutive interpreting. It takes place in legal settings.

Whispered interpreting: It is used in very exceptional situations due to the hard working conditions. The interpreter is in the same room as the participants providing a whispered interpretation in real-time to a small number of listeners.

Written translation:

Sworn translation of official documents: birth certificates, academic record, university diplomas, minutes, etc.

Specialized translation of legal documents: contracts, company by-laws, in-house correspondence, reports, etc.

Translations in the field of social sciences: psychology, pedagogy, teaching materials, etc.
